Troubleshooting syslogd

If you've modified /etc/syslog.conf and restarted syslog using /etc/init.d/syslog restart you might notice your kern messages are not logged. To fix that, kill klogd, and restart it with -s option to force processing messages with syslogd instead of using /proc/kmesg.
