Find info about your hardware in Debian Linux

lspci | grep Ethernet You must have installed pciutils package, which contains lspci. apt-get install pciutils Also you can use hdparm for hard drive info, and do not forget dmesg command which shows you lots of useful informations. Info about hardware can be found from /proc files.
